Professional Experience

Gerald started his tax and accounting public practice in 1985. The practice has grown rapidly over the years and he and his team helps hundreds of clients with their tax, accounting and business and retirement needs to grow and prosper.

In 1991 he formed a property investment and development company in partnership of four people and during the next 20 years invested and developed millions of dollars of commercial, industrial and residential properties. The business ceased operations when two of the partners retired.In 2000 he started up a regional four-screen cinema in South Gippsland. It is a family company and he is the Managing Director of the company. It employs 20 people and provides entertainment to the South Gipplsand and Bass Coast regions in Victoria.

Gerald partnered with Sally in 2022 to help their clients to prosper with tax, property investment, virtual CFO business management, superannuation and retirement advice and services. The business has experienced very rapid growth as there is a big gap in the market for the provision of these services and advisory.
Gerald is a registered tax agent and registered SMSF auditor. Gerald is a Fellow of the Institute of Public Accounts, and a Chartered Tax Advisor with the Tax Institute of Australia. Gerald has started providing pro bono mentoring for some government projects. 


Gerald studied at RMIT University Melbourne and completed e Bachelor of Business Studies majoring in Accounting in 1984. Gerald furthered is studies at RMIT University Melbourne in the Certificate of Property Valuation.

Gerald spends around 80 to 100 hours every year continuing his professional development.

Personal Profile

Gerald is married and has twin sons, both accountants, one twin works in the practice and the other twin is the General Manager of the regional cinema. He has one daughter who is studying to be a primary school teacher. He has four grandchildren who he loves dearly and they bring a lot of joy to his life.

Gerald loves the outdoors and spends lots of time in his large garden enjoying the solitude and time spent with his two dogs. In his former life, he was an electrician and took every opportunity to get his hand on the tools with handy jobs around his home with his sons and grandsons (one day). The highlight for Gerald is weekly family get-togethers for dinner on a Sunday evening.

Gerald is a Melbourne Cricket Club and Hawthorn Football Club member and enjoys going to the MCG to watch the Boxing Day Test and his beloved Hawthorn with his sons, brothers and friends.
